Making It Count

Grade 7 students come together from elementary schools across our school district. At Columneetza, we have the unique opportunity to work with all our north district students who are the same age together in their learning.

This school year we are working on the question, “What essential skills do students need to have in grade 7 mathematics to be numerate?” Our staff team is working closely with numeracy consultant Carole Fullerton and district collaborators. We are excited to share our progress and this important work continues!
